Service Details
The horse & carriage is transported to your location by truck and enclosed trailer. We provide service throughout northern and central Illinois, as well as northwest Indiana, Sorry ... we cannot serve downtown Chicago. We also offer horse-drawn hearse services for funeral processions and memorial services.
Our horse and carriages arrive on time and fulfill the same practical function as a limousine ~ with far more romance.
Our horses & carriages are permitted to travel on public streets during daylight hours, providing grand delivery to and/or from the ceremony site.
Typically it will take from twenty-five to thirty-five minutes to travel a distance of two miles by horse and carriage. Some of our horses could travel further distances and we can map your route to determine how much time you will need to allow. Regardless to how near or far ... the ride is simply delightful!
Each Wedding Coach can be open, covered and completely enclosed, protecting passengers from foul weather. The Cinderella Pumpkin Coach, being the unique theme carriage that it is, is not enclosable ... making it a" fair weather" vehicle.
Although our carriages are distinctive unadorned, we customarily add tasteful floral decor on our coaches and provide a "Just Married" sign for weddings.
Phenomenal portraits can be achieved using our horse and carriages as a backdrop. If time permits in route to reception, why not plan on stopping at a scenic spot for a brief photo session?
An informative brochure with price quote and reservation form is available by mail, email or fax. To assure availability an early reservation of six to eight months in advance is highly recommended.
